_HomeRoots Books publish a set of bilingual English and Punjabi literacy books featuring the experiences of Punjabi children and families involved in cultural activities and everyday life.

Each of the books ...

• Are suitable for home use and in pre-schools, schools, community programs, libraries and other settings
• Help prepare children for school by building familiarity and learning of the English language

These early literacy books have been developed by educator Rapinder Rai to help strengthen the child’s home language and culture and build a sense of pride in the Punjabi culture while preparing the child for school in an English language setting.
